Deadman Mode
Deadman Mode
Deadman Mode is a high-stakes PvP game mode where every player starts on a fresh account, creating an intense and competitive experience.
Danger Zones
The entire world is a PvP-enabled area, meaning you can attack other players—or be attacked—within your combat bracket at almost any location.
Guarded Zones
Specific safezones are scattered across the world map where PvP combat is strictly prohibited. Inside a safezone, you cannot be attacked by other players, and you cannot attack others.

PvP Mechanics
Skulling System
If you attack another player outside of a safezone, you receive a 5-minute skull timer. While skulled, you're marked as an aggressor, making you a target for others. Entering a guarded safezone with an active skull timer triggers an immediate response from Deadman Mode guards, who will attack you on sight. You must leave the zone quickly to avoid being killed.
Player Kills and Bank Keys
When you kill another player, you receive all items they were carrying at the time of death. Additionally, you'll receive a bank key, which can be used at any Deadman chest located in guarded zones to claim the 10 most valuable items from the defeated player's bank.
Safety Deposit Box
Each player has access to a safety deposit box that can store up to 10 items of your choice. Items placed in this box are completely safe and will never be lost upon death, regardless of how you die.

PvP Protection System
When you create a new account, you automatically receive 1 hour of PvP protection. During this period:
You cannot be attacked by other players
You cannot attack other players
This protection gives you time to familiarize yourself with the game without the threat of being attacked.
As you advance through combat brackets, you receive an additional 30 minutes of PvP protection each time. This system ensures you have a buffer period to adjust and prepare for tougher opponents.
Cancelling PvP Protection Early
If you wish to cancel your protection before the timer expires, speak to the Doomsayer in Lumbridge. He can remove your PvP protection, allowing you to engage in player combat immediately.
In Deadman Mode, various timers play a crucial role in determining the outcome of PvP encounters:
Anti-PJ Timer:
If you engage in combat with another player, neither of you can be attacked by a third party until the combat ends.
Once combat ends, there is a 20 game tick timer before you can be attacked by someone else.
This timer is critical if you want to escape a fight: for example, you can freeze the player attacking you and hide behind an object to safely teleport out.
Logout Timer:
Logging out of the game has a 7-second timer. If you attempt to log out while in combat or being targeted, you'll need to wait 7 seconds before your character safely disconnects.
Teleportation Timer:
If you're unskulled and not in combat, you can teleport instantly.
If you're skulled or in combat, there's a 7-second timer before you can successfully teleport.
Death:
On DMMPS you won't lose any experience on death.
You will lose 10 of the most valueable items in your bank (50% of a stackable item)
You'll be given a starter pack on respawn, including a free tier 1 sigil.
