Construction is an important skill in Deadman Mode, providing you with a safe haven from PvP when you need it most.

Player-Owned House (POH) Benefits

Your POH serves as a personal sanctuary. When you teleport to your POH while skulled, your skull timer is paused—and best of all, nobody can attack you there. This makes your house a crucial safe zone for regrouping and resupplying.

Full Construction Functionality

Construction works 100% as intended, meaning everything in your POH can be built if you have the required items and Construction level. Estate agents can redecorate or relocate your house just like in OSRS for a coin fee.

POH as a Teleportation Hub

Your POH provides excellent teleportation options throughout the world:

• Jewelry boxes

• Portal nexus

• Fairy ring

• Spirit tree

• Wilderness obelisk

Rejuvenation Pool

The rejuvenation pool is one of the most valuable constructions in your POH. It's the only way to recover 100% special attack without any cooldown, making it essential for PvP and high-level PvM.

Mahogany Homes Minigame

Mahogany Homes is a Construction minigame where players complete contracts for various NPCs throughout Falador, Varrock, East Ardougne, and Hosidius.

How It Works

Contractors assign you a contract at a random location. You travel to the NPC's home and repair or replace objects within it. This requires planks (the type depends on your contract tier) and occasionally one steel bar.

Contract Types

• Beginner (level 1)

• Novice (level 20)

• Adept (level 50)

• Expert (level 70)

You may choose any contract type you meet the level requirement for. Higher-tier contracts offer better experience rates but cost more in materials.

Rewards

Upon completion, speak to the homeowner to finish the contract, then return to a contractor for another assignment.

Completing contracts rewards:

• Construction experience

• Carpenter points (spend at the Mahogany Homes Reward Shop)

• DMM points

The minigame offers modest experience rates at a much cheaper cost than traditional Construction training methods, making it an accessible way to level Construction efficiently.
