Getting Started
Getting Started in DMMPS
When you first log into DMMPS, you'll go through a quick setup process to customize your starting experience.
Step 1: Tutorial Information
Read through essential information about Deadman Mode mechanics to understand the basics.
Step 2: Select Your Starting Sigil
Choose one of three free starting sigils:
Sigil of the Menacing Mage
Sigil of the Formidable Fighter
Sigil of the Ruthless Ranger
Important: You cannot sell this sigil on the Grand Exchange until you reach Bracket 3 (combat level 71+).

Step 3: Choose Your Starting Location
Select from a variety of starting locations to match your planned route and strategy.

Step 4: Confirm and Begin
Review your selections, and once confirmed, you'll be brought to the Mainland. You'll start in Bracket 1 with 15x combat XP and 5x skilling XP.
Making your way up the combat brackets is crucial—each bracket increases your XP rates and unique drop multipliers.
